We had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful, Mediterranean-inspired brunch that was as much about flavor as it was about community. The event, curated with care and passion by Alix' House, was an unforgettable celebration of food, culture, and the spirit of togetherness — all inspired by the Greek and Lebanese roots of our co-founder, Nick.
For this special Sunday brunch by the beach, our talented chefs prepared a menu that transported our guests straight to the Mediterranean coast. The dishes, bursting with the vibrant and fresh flavors of the region, were thoughtfully crafted to reflect the rich culinary heritage of Greece and Lebanon — Nick’s family background — blended with our own modern twist.

Freshly Baked Sourdough Bread, Babaganoush, Tyrokafteri, Tzatziki, Cretan Dakos Salad, Tabbouli, Shrimp Saganaki, Spanakopita, Pourgouri and Biftekia.

Nick’s family has always had a tradition of gathering around the table, enjoying good food and great company, and he wanted to share this same warmth with the community. It was a wonderful way to bring people together and create lasting memories around a shared meal, much like how Sundays are cherished in the middle east, where family meals are often the highlight of the week.

The setting in Caparica added to the magic of the event. With its relaxed, inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect backdrop for a leisurely Sunday brunch. Guests were able to savor the flavors of the Mediterranean while enjoying stunning views and the warm, sunny weather that Caparica is known for.
